Patricia Scott, Estate Planning
Ms. Scott’s practice encompasses advising individuals, families and professional and non-professional fiduciaries regarding estate and tax planning matters, probates, trust administrations and conservatorships. Ms. Scott also handles will and trust contests, including elder abuse actions. Her goal in these litigated matters is achieving an efficient resolution of disputes to minimize the financial and emotional impact on her clients. Ms. Scott is an advocate for early use of alternative dispute resolution in the probate and trust area where feasible, and her background in trust and probate dispute resolution gives her a unique perspective regarding the use of planning to reduce the incidence of costly litigation in the future.
She is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California State Bar, the East Bay Trust and Estates Lawyers (EBTEL), has a Certification in Grief Counseling from the Grief Recovery Institute of Los Angeles, is a past member of the San Francisco Aids Legal Referral Panel, and has over twenty years of experience planning and administering estates in California. Kamela is the founder of Integrate Legacy Law, an estate planning firm that delivers an exquisite experience to its clients while creating their custom estate planning portfolios!
